Ward committed to constituents

1 min read

Judy Ward has represented Pennsylvania's 30th Senate District since 2018, following two terms in the state House. A lifelong Blair County resident and registered nurse, Ward has focused much of her legislative work on healthcare, transportation, agriculture and local economic development.

Ward currently chairs the Senate Transportation Committee, overseeing legislation involving roads, bridges, public transportation, and other infrastructure. Her legislative record includes laws supporting healthcare workers, protecting victims of domestic violence, expanding access to psychology services, and assisting community health centers. She has also worked on legislation addressing pharmacy benefit managers and healthcare costs.

In 2026, Ward helped announce more than $5.2 million in Local Share Account funding for projects throughout the 30th District.

On Nov. 3, voters in the 30th District will decide whether to return Ward to the Pennsylvania Senate.
