Coach Joe DeLeo's quote: "We were so pleased to get Nicole on the field this year as she had to miss all of last season with an injury. We challenged Nicole to play center midfielder for us, which is not her historical position. She has stepped up in a big way to accept the challenge. Not only is she scoring consistently for our team, her ability to take control of the middle of the field and keep opposing defenses on their heels has helped our team immensely.''
