Tough night for Mountain Lions, CHS volleyball

HARRISBURG — Altoona slipped to 2-6 with a 3-1 (23-25, 25-22, 25-18, 28-26) loss at Central Dauphin East in high school boys volleyball on Tuesday.
Parker Huey-Kish led the Mountain Lions with 16 kills and had eight digs, Logan Coldwell delivered seven kills and 10 digs, Caleb Terza had seven kills, 17 digs and 14 assists, Max Coon contributed 23 assists and 11 digs, Ayden Shuma had eight blocks, and Blaine Lanzendorfer added seven blocks.
C.D. East improved to 7-3.

The Scarlet Dragons got eight kills from Blake Reynolds and five more from Mason Kocsis.
Landon Rhoades added 23 assists while Colby Gojmerac and Reyolds each added six service points.
