Lady Hornet bats put up big numbers in victory
WILLIAMSBURG — Brooklyn Harman homered, Kelsey Ersek had three hits and four RBIs and Lexey Smith had three hits and three RBIs to lead Juniata Valley to a 16-3 win over Williamsburg Tuesday in high school softball play.
Abby Sneath added two hits and three RBIs for the Lady Hornets.
Rylee Stultz had a hit and drove in two runs for the Lady Pirates.

Tigers fall
HOLLIDAYSBURG — Hollidaysburg had the tying runs in scoring position with one out but couldn’t get them home in an 11-9 eight-inning loss to Clearfield.
Mikaylah Vincent and Leah Hammel each had four hits for the Lady Tigers — eight of their 19 — but a five-run rally to tie the game in the bottom of the seventh inning wasn’t enough to get the win.
