Altoona girls volleyball falls short

STATE COLLEGE — State College outlasted Altoona, 20-25, 25-21, 25-15, 22-25, 15-12, in high school girls volleyball action on Wednesday, despite 14 kills and 26 digs from Sydney Stroup and 28 assists, nine digs and two aces by Sami Page. CORAPOLIS — Hollidaysburg knocked off Neshannock in the finals of the Moon Area High School Girls Volleyball Tournament on Saturday with the help of all-tournament team members Emily Clapper and Sahara McNeal.
