SPRING MILLS — Central Cambria won both the boys and girls Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference dual meet cross country championships on Saturday. The Red Devils topped fellow section champions Bedford, 17-43, and Bellefonte, 23-32. The Lady Devils beat Bedford, 20-43 and Bellefonte, 15-48. Scholastic soccer nears postseason

The fall scholastic soccer season is in full stride, and several teams in the area have developed into incredibly strong, cohesive teams at this point in time. The Bishop Guilfoyle Lady Marauders looked to be an extremely strong squad prior to the start of the season, and they have lived up to that billing, losing only to Hollidaysburg.
