Cumberland Valley’s Nate Miller took a perfect game into the bottom of the sixth inning before surrendering a two-out, three run double to Altoona’s Lucas Muffie that tied the game at Mansion Park in high school baseball action Thursday. Altoona won the game in the bottom of the eighth when Erik Rhodes’ one-out single scored Aidan Steinbugl with the winning run. STATE COLLEGE — Led by winning pitcher Erik Rhodes’ three hits and four RBIs, Altoona downed State College, 15-7, and improved its record to 10-5 in high school baseball action on Tuesday.
