ASHVILLE — Brayden Pike had two hits and three RBIs to lead Gloria Gates Care to an 11-1 win in five innings over Ashville VFW Wednesday in a Kelley Federation game.

Gates Care (1-1) also got two hits and an RBI from Connor Waite to go with two hits from Anthony Riccio and two RBIs from Lucas Gority. Winning pitcher Carter McConnell struck out eight in three hitless innings of work.

S&D wins slugfest

PATTON — The Sons & Daughters of Italy (2-0) scored in every inning on the way to a 19-9 victory over Barton’s Plumbing and Heating in six innings.

Parker Maseto had a 4-hit game, including a double, and drove in three runs to lead Sons & Daughters. Anthony Swander added three hits, while Bryce Lewis knocked in four runs.

Dane Lechner homered for Barton’s, which dropped to 1-1.

Tyrone comes back

Despite allowing five runs in the top of the first inning, Tyrone Legion came back to defeat Panthers Baseball Club, 8-6, at Vets Field.

Tyrone Legion, which had just four hits on the day, got a double from Colton Frye. Logan Seeger and Chase Golden both drove in two runs.

Evan Latterner tripled for the Panthers.

Big comeback

Altoona Moose Lodge 74 turned a 6-3 deficit after three innings into an 11-7 victory over Bavarian Aid Society at Seitz Field.

Westley Zitsch went 4 for 5 to lead Altoona Moose, including a triple. He also scored twice and had two RBIs. Liam Swander and Thomas Brouse both doubled for the winners.
