The Altoona Curve-Akron RubberDucks game was postponed due to rain on Thursday night at Peoples Natural Gas Field. The game will be made up as a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 4 p.m. with two seven-inning games to be played. The Curve (14-15 second-half) have dropped four games in a row, matching a season-long losing streak. Tickets for Thursday’s rainout can be exchanged for any other 2022 regular season game for equal or lesser value based on availability. Tickets must be exchanged in person at the box office. BOWIE, Md. — The Curve needed a big week here. Instead, they wound up with a big disappointment. First-place Bowie pounded Altoona, 14-6, Sunday afternoon at Prince Georges Stadium and went 5-1 in the series to drop the Curve 4 ¢ games back in the Southwest Division. BOWIE, Md. — The Curve got beat up in the first three games of this week’s series against Bowie, then they punched back in the first inning Friday night. Altoona erupted for five runs in the first and held on for a 6-4 victory over the Baysox at Prince Georges Stadium.
