PATTON — Jace Davison went 3-for-3 with three doubles, scored three times and drove home three runs for Penn Cambria in a 15-5, five-inning victory over Cambria Heights on Friday in high school baseball.

Winning pitcher Evan Latterner helped his own cause with two hits, two runs and three RBIs, Logan Price smacked a three-run homer for the Panthers, while Caden Gibbons and Brady Jones tacked on two RBIs apiece.

Harrison Snyder doubled and drove in three runs for the Highlanders, while Anthony Swander posted two hits.

Hornets fall to Trojans

MOUNT UNION — A five-run third inning by Mount Union put Juniata Valley in a deficit it couldn’t recover from in a 7-1 loss on the road.

Elijah Johns and Nate Rodkey delivered two hits to lead the Green Hornets.

Maddox Hobbs earned the win for the Trojans, while also collecting two hits, including a double, and two RBIs.
