Donald G. ‘Don’ Knarr

Donald G. “Don” Knarr, 79, Martinsburg, died Tuesday. He was born in Punxsutawney, son of Harry and Margaret (McAninch) Knarr. On Feb. 24, 2023, he married Kathryn (Steele), who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Brian and Brad; stepchildren: Eric, Heather, Joshua and Rachel; and an aunt, Evelyn. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Dale and Barbara. Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. memorial service on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2026, at Puzzletown Road Bible Church. John A. Zerby, 76, Imler, died Tuesday. He was born in Roaring Spring, son of John and Jean (Kennedy) Zerby. He married Carol E. Knisely, who preceded him in death on July 7, 2012. Surviving are five sisters: Winnie, Tina, Hazel, Bonnie and Audra; a brother, Jerry; many nieces and nephews; and his friend, Mark and his family. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob and Terry. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg.
