Elmer Gorden Little Jr.

Elmer Gorden Little Jr., 80, Altoona, died Monday. He was born in Tyrone, son of the late Elmer G. and Rose (Stack) Little. On June 11, 1965, he married Edna LaRue Miller. Surviving are children: Misty Weyandt, Holly Burick and James Little; grandchildren: Paul Jr., Amanda, Casandra, Nickolas, Christopher and Ellie; eight great-grandchildren; and sisters, Mary Ann Miller and Debbie Leech. Elmer dedicated 20 years of service to the US Army. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Altoona.

Surviving are children: Justin Heidler, Kendra Sidney, Brittany Weyandt, AJ Weyandt and Alyssa Weyandt; 24 grandchildren; siblings, Lisa Long and Jeffery Glass; three half-siblings; four nieces; a nephew; and stepfather, Bradie Glass. Anthony Richard Bucher, 68, of Lewisberry, formerly of Altoona, died Saturday at his home after a valiant battle with Alzheimer’s. He was born in Altoona, to the late Richard E. and Rita A. Audrey L. (Shriner) Kensinger, 83, formerly of the Cove area, died Saturday. She was born in Martinsburg, daughter of the late Clair and Mabel (Bowser) Shriner. Surviving are her husband, Daniel; children: Debra, Brian, Julie and George; and many grandchildren.
