Patricia Ann Cherry, 79, of Riggles Gap, died Saturday morning at her home. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Kenneth Otto and Jeanette (Delevett) Chatham.
On March 25, 1964, she married Jerry W. Cherry in Winchester, Va. He preceded her in death on Oct. 28, 2025.
Surviving are her three sons: Michael T. (Suzanne Bigelow-Cherry), Kenneth B. and Stephen W. (Jill) Cherry; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Scott A.; and a brother, Michael Chatham.
Patricia was a devoted homemaker and made her life's work caring for her cherished family, especially her beloved son, Scott.
She was a member of Riggles Gap Bible Church, where she was dedicated to teaching Sunday school and Vacation Bible School.
An avid reader, she also enjoyed traveling, especially to Tennessee. She was a self-taught, masterful cook and baker and had a special love of cats.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until noon Thursday, Feb. 26, 2026, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at noon Thursday at the funeral home, with Pastor Dave Hersh officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
