Matthew Charles Corwin, 49, of Portage, passed away Monday, March 3, 2025. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.today, Friday, March 7, 2025, at Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home Inc. in Portage. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Our Lady of the Alleghenies Church, Lilly, with Father Matthew Reese, celebrant. Interment at Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown, will be private to the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Lilly Conference.

Martin Allen Decker, 65, of Portage, died Monday. He was born in Punxsutawney, son of the late Gordon Blaine and Marie (Kline) Decker. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Melody Bush. Marty is survived by sons: Brandon, Shane, Ty and Jordan; the mother of his sons, Roberta Lane; five grandchildren; brothers, Jeff and Gordon; sisters, Linda Frederick and Brenda Jacobs; and brother in-law, Richard Bush. Louis John Hite, 77, entered eternal rest on Feb. 27, 2025, at his residence in Lincolnton, Ga. He was the son of proud parents, Victor Lewis Hite and Pauline Marie (Schmitt) Hite, who preceded him in death. Louis was born and raised in Altoona, a graduate of the Class of 1965 Bishop Guilfoyle High School. Bryan P. Martz

Bryan P. Martz, 54, Fallentimber, passed away Tuesday at his home. He was born in Altoona, the son of Donald Jerry and Judith (Yeaney) Martz. He was preceded in death by his father. In addition to his mother, he is survived by siblings, Julie (William) Wertz and Randall L. Martz; three nieces; and two nephews. Bryan graduated from Glendale High School and enjoyed caring for and working with horses. He was also a loving caregiver of his mother, with whom he made his home.
