Richard M. Lance, 61, of New Castle, formerly of Altoona, passed away April 29, 2025. He was a son of the late Hilderbert and Hilda (Nail) Lance. Surviving are his wife, Brenda; children: Michael and Rebecca and Tim Wellhausen; five grandchildren; and siblings: David, Gloria Boggs and Anna Wilt. Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed hunting deer and bear and spending time with family and friends. He will forever be remembered as the loving, fun, gentle Christian man that he was.
