Ralph Aniceto Lacorato

Ralph Aniceto Lacorato, 75, passed away Thursday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Ralph Sr. and Marion (Johnston) Lacorato. Ralph grew up in Gallitzin, and served in the U.S. Army. He was predeceased by his first wife, Joanna. Surviving are his wife, Judy; son, Sam; daughter-in-law, Anneke Burnell-Lacorato; grandchildren, Allante’ Hoch and Brenden Lacorato; stepchildren, Sandra and Deanna; sister, Nancy Thompson; niece, Cassie Grassmyer; and nephew, Robert Thompson. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service Monday, June 23, 2025, at Gibbons Funeral Home, Gallitzin.

Suzanne Lupinetti

Suzanne Lupinetti, 91, formerly of Gallitzin, passed away Thursday. She was born in Gallitzin, daughter of the late Vince and Antoinette Yodzevicis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony “Tony”; and her sisters, Josephine, Janet and Margaret. Surviving are sons, Dr. Anthony Lupinetti and Dr. Thomas Lupinetti; many grandchildren; and a brother, Karl. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin. Arrangements by Gibbons Funeral Home, Gallitzin.

Nancy J. Walls, age 86, of East Freedom, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring. She was born in East Freedom, the daughter of the late Charles and Sarah “Ellie” (Feathers) Nofsker. She married Michael H. Walls on Oct. 10, 1964, who survives. Nancy was a 1956 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and had previously been employed by the Hollidaysburg Loan Co. for 15 years. Marguerite E. (Cimbalista) Walter

Marguerite E. (Cimbalista) Walter, 56, of Altoona, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025. She was born in Pottsville, daughter of the late Robert and Joan (Dean) Cimbalista. Surviving are daughters: Tosha Jalloh, Meagan Miller and Melinda Walter; grandchildren: Mason, Chelsea, Jaelyn, Aaden, A’miyah and Jordyn; and siblings: Robert, James, Stephen, Elizabeth and Jennifer. Marguerite enjoyed being outdoors and at the beach, but especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. William G. Biesecker, 85, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Wednesday. He was born in Martinsburg, son of the late Donald and Marguerite (Replogle) Biesecker. Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Donna (Snyder); a daughter, Wendy Orr; a son, Curtis; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
