Nancy J. Walls
June 22, 1938 – June 19, 2025
Nancy J. Walls, age 86, of East Freedom, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday at Conemaugh Nason Medical Center, Roaring Spring. She was born in East Freedom, the daughter of the late Charles and Sarah “Ellie” (Feathers) Nofsker.
She married Michael H. Walls on Oct. 10, 1964, who survives.
Nancy was a 1956 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and had previously been employed by the Hollidaysburg Loan Co. for 15 years.
She was a member of Smith Corner Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Aid and enjoyed helping in the kitchen. She had also been a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Nancy loved singing, cooking and baking.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2025, at Smith Corner Church.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday,
June 27, 2025, at the church, by Pastor Jon Brewer. Interment will be made at Riverview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nancy’s memory may be given to the Ladies Aid at Smith Corner Church.
