Mary P. (Jennings) Codd, 86, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Sunday at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Altoona. She was born in Williamsport, daughter of the late Orlan V. and Ethel S. (Gill) Jennings. Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Henry W. Codd Sr.; two sons, Henry Jr. (Kim) and Bradford (Heather); and four grandchildren: Parker, Zoe, Naomi and Shayna. She was preceded in death by four brothers; and a sister. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Doris Marie (Carson) Eget, who left us peacefully on Saturday at the age of 80. Doris was born in Spangler, to late parents, Joseph and Helen (Shutty) Carson. Doris joins her husband, James Anthony “Jim,” who passed away Feb. 12, 2017. Thomas G. Hollen, 78, of Tyrone, died Saturday at Penn Highlands, Tyrone. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Robert W. and Almeda P. (Woomer) Hollen. Surviving are his son, George C.; siblings: Kenneth and Duane Hollen and Peg Campbell; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by siblings: Carole Engle, Helen Walk, Fay Littin and Elaine and Gary Hollen. To honor his wishes, there will be no viewing, visitation or funeral service.
