Tammy L. Wright, 62, of Bellwood, died early Saturday morning at her home after an extended illness. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of Arlene Faye (Bush) and the late Kenneth E. McCracken Sr.
Surviving are her six children: January (Lee) Sparks, Anna (Tyler) Corey, Timothy (Nikia) Wright, Alana (Jesus) Torres, Stacy Wright and Aeris Wright; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her mother; and five brothers: Mark W., Brian R. (Tammy), Michael A., Bruce E. (Penny) and Kenneth E. Jr.
She was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Mary Kay McCracken.
Tammy was a 1980 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School. She was a veteran of the U.S. Army and employed as a licensed practical nurse.
She was a member of Logan Valley Baptist Church, Bellwood, where she served as a trustee.
Tammy enjoyed genealogy, sewing, music, singing and traveling across the country. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her mother and grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Pastor Stan Gill officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
The family suggests that contributions in Tammy's memory be made to Logan Valley Baptist Church, Bellwood, earmarked for the upgrading stained-glass window fund.
