Virginia M. ‘Butch’ (Garland) Brumbaugh

Virginia M. “Butch” (Garland) Brumbaugh, 80, of Henrietta, passed away at her home. She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late George and Virginia (Sweeney) Garland. On May 25, 1968, she married Ronald Brumbaugh. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband; an infant son, Michael Scott Garland; two brothers, James and Jack Garland; and a sister, Minnie Krasnicki. Surviving is her daughter, Jackie Olbert (Kevin). At request of the deceased, no services will be held. Interment will be at Brumbaugh Cemetery, Fredericksburg. Rose M. James, 94, of Jamestown, Portage Township, passed away on Friday in Sidman. She was the daughter of Raymond and Julia (Yogus) Boley. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl James; their son, Donald James; and her siblings: Delores Boley, Charlotte Chrisko, Esther Hatfield, Ruth Seabolt, Paul Boley and Paul Miterko. Dennis W. Wolfinger, 79, of Altoona, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2026. He was born in Altoona, the son of Ralph E. and Anna Marie (McManamy) Wolfinger. He served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his daughters, Peggy Allen (David) and Sheila Deyarmin (Steve); grandson, Charles Myers; and sisters, Deborah “Ann” Wolfinger of Iowa and Deanna Wilson (Dennis) of Altoona. Dennis was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley D. (Holliday) Wolfinger, on Jan. 4, 2021. Burial will be held privately at the family’s convenience.
