Dennis W. Wolfinger, 79, of Altoona, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2026. He was born in Altoona, the son of Ralph E. and Anna Marie (McManamy) Wolfinger. He served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his daughters, Peggy Allen (David) and Sheila Deyarmin (Steve); grandson, Charles Myers; and sisters, Deborah "Ann" Wolfinger of Iowa and Deanna Wilson (Dennis) of Altoona. Dennis was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley D. (Holliday) Wolfinger, on Jan. 4, 2021. Burial will be held privately at the family's convenience.
