Eugene Edward Clouse, 68, of Altoona, passed away peacefully at home with his wife by his side on Tuesday. He was born in Hollidaysburg, son of the late Eugene J. and Margaret (Delozier) Clouse.
He married Virginia Bonnie Dodson on May 7, 1983.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years; three sons: Joseph and wife Natasha, Edward and wife Carol, and Raymond and wife Rachel; three grandchildren: Connor, Jolene and Ansley; and a sister, Karen Corle, and husband, Tim.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Vola.
Ed graduated from Hollidaysburg High School and attended Ohio Institute of Technology. He majored in electrical engineering.
Ed worked as an independent contractor, doing start-ups at nuclear power plants as an instrument control technician.
He was a member of Steamfitters Local Union 420 out of Philadelphia.
Ed will be missed by his furry companion, JollyPop.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at noon.
Private interment at Alto-Reste Park.
