Charlotte L. (Stump) Price

She was born in Cumberland, Md., daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Poorbaugh) Stump. On Jan. 30, 1960, she married Fred C. Price in Roaring Spring, and he preceded her in death on March 5, 2004.

Surviving are five daughters: Karen of Chantilly, Va., Kris (Tom Dickey) of Hollidaysburg, Kim in Maryland, Karole (Derin) Moore of Roaring Spring, and Kay Lynn (Dave) Shriver of Roaring Spring; six grandchildren: Joe Sullivan, Laurin and Hannah Moore, and Zachary, Aaron and Briana Shriver; and a brother, John Stump of Roaring Spring.

Charlotte was a 1955 graduate of Roaring Spring High School and a 1959 graduate of Penn State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in music. She retired as a music teacher from Spring Cove School District.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or service. A private inurnment will be held at the convenience of the family, the Rev. Joel Kletzing officiating. Arrangements are by Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Charlotte’s memory may be given to Mending Hearts Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 97, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
