FTC, 22 states sue Amazon over ad prices The Federal Trade Commission and 22 states have filed a lawsuit against online retailer Amazon claiming that it defrauded advertising customers. The lawsuit was filed Monday in the U.S. District Court in the Western District of Washington. Wall Street closed out August on a downbeat note Monday as stocks fell and the price of oil rose after the U.S. launched its first military action in a month against Iran.
