Anthony M. “Tony” Fayson, 70, passed away Friday. He was born in Altoona, a son of Francis and Margaret Fayson. He is survived by his children: James, Michael, Katie and Charlotte; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, James; and a sister, Leona. He is preceded in death by a son, Michael; and a sister, Dorothy. Family and friends will be received from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2025, at The Good Funeral Home Inc. A funeral service with full military honors will follow at 10 a.m. Private interment will be held at Alto Reste Park, Altoona.

Leah K. Grim, 62, Altoona, passed away Sunday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Philadelphia, daughter of Beatrice (Cumpston) and the late Donald Matthews. She is survived by four children: Raymond Cantwell, Michael Cantwell, Kayla Grim and Rebecca Grim; five grandchildren: Cheyenne Hopkins, Weston Decker, Charlotte Hopkins, Mia Reaney and Kaylee Kish; and her best friend, Melanie Romig.
