Ithel J. “Ike” Wright, 94, Martinsburg, died Thursday. He was born in Hopewell, son of the late Chester and Evelyn (Lynn) Wright. Ike was also predeceased by two wives, Mary (Miller) and Janet (Hoover). Surviving are his wife, Carolyn (Imler); children, Daniel Wright and Julie Noem; his grandchildren; siblings: Paul, Leroy and Alan Wright and Fayetta Barber; and sister-in-law, Harriet Miller. Alan Lee Diehl, 72, of Tyrone, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Aug. 22, 2025. He was born in Altoona on Dec. 8, 1952, a son of the late William Diehl and Janet (Moyer) Diehl Pfiester. After William passed away, Alan’s mother later married his father, the late Robert Pfiester. On Sept. 14, 1979, he married Nancy Ann Frank, who survives. Also surviving are two children: Melissa Miller and Alan “AJ” Diehl II; one granddaughter: Bailee Miller; and four siblings: Bobbi Ann Schmitt and Michael, Tim, and Terry Pfiester. Margaret T. Frank, 91, Cresson, passed away Monday at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johns­town. She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (DiMento) Frank. Margaret was preceded in death by siblings: Nancy, Ann, Frances, Rose, Rita, Samuel and Albert. She is survived by her twin sister, Polly; a sister, Phyllis; and many nieces and nephews.
