Arthur C. Clarke Jr.

Arthur C. Clarke Jr. 93, of Philipsburg, formerly of Ashland, died Friday. He was born in Berwinsdale, a son of the late Arthur Sr. and Ruth (Gill) Clarke. He was also preceded in death by brothers: Tom, Harvey and Bill; and a sister, Vida Witherow. Arthur was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Surviving are his wife, Gloria; daughters, Tammi Clarke and Tonya Thompson; a son, Robert; his grandchildren; and sisters, Patricia Baker and Ruthie Kunsman. Friends will be received from noon until the 2 p.m. service Thursday, Nov. 20, 2025, at Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home Inc., Houtzdale.

William Daniel Eisenhart Jr.

William Daniel Eisenhart Jr., 87, of Altoona, passed away Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, at The Village at Morrisons Cove. Friends will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, where a funeral service will immediately follow in the Stevens Memorial Chapel. Elizabeth ‘Liz’ Hetrick

Elizabeth Hetrick, 79, of Woodbury, passed away Friday at Homewood Living, Martinsburg. She was born in Trenton, N.J., a daughter of the late Sherman P. and Josephine (Kusek) Caffey. On Dec. 22, 2001, she married George M. Hetrick, who survives along with her sister and best friend, Patricia Swartz, of New Enterprise. No services will be held.
