Joann L. Banholzer, 87, of Altoona, passed away Saturday at Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg. She was born in Johnstown, daughter of the late Clyde and Veda (Shultz) Teeter. Joann is survived by her sisters, Cora (Del) Stiffler and Sherry (Neil) Carmichael. She worked part time at Benzel’s of Altoona for 11 years, and as facilities designer for 39 years at Verizon. She was also an auditor for Your Choice Credit Union and a longtime VA Hospital volunteer. As per Joann’s wishes, there will be no viewing or services.
