A Tyrone teen was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday morning.

According to the Blair County Coroner’s Office, Taylan McGlynn, 19, was killed in the crash on Kettle Road near Wagon Road in Tyrone Township.

The coroner was called to investigate about 1:41 a.m., according to a news release.

McGlynn was one of the occupants in the vehicle, the release states.

An autopsy was scheduled for Sunday, according to the coroner’s office release.

Additional information about the accident was not available Sunday evening, although the coroner’s office said alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
