PennDOT announces NS rail work

On behalf of Norfolk Southern Railroad, PennDOT has announced an upcoming road closure and detour of Trough Creek Valley Pike in Henderson Township, Huntingdon County, for railroad crossing maintenance.

Trough Creek Valley Pike, just north of Mill Creek, will be closed and detoured for about two to three days between Tuesday, June 9, and Friday, June 12. The length of the closure is dependent on several factors, including track time, equipment issues and weather. 

The Trough Creek Valley Pike detour will use Route 22 (Ben Franklin Highway) east to Oriskany Road, Bridge Street, Main Street, Campbell Street and Hares Valley Road to Route 829 in Knightsville.
