Williamsburg woman killed in two-vehicle crash in Catharine Township
A Williamsburg woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident late Thursday night.
According to state police, Christina F. Fox, 41, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 11:01 p.m. crash on Route 22 near the intersection with Fox Run Road in Catharine Township.
Fox was driving a 2012 Honda Accord east when she crossed over the center line and struck the front of a 2019 Jeep traveling west.
Fox was pronounced dead as a result of injuries suffered in the crash, police reported.
The driver of the Jeep, a 46-year-old Altoona man, was flown from the scene to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center for treatment of suspected serious injuries. A 36-year-old passenger in the Jeep was taken to UPMC Altoona for treatment of suspected minor injuries, the report states.
The Blair County Coroner’s Office lists Fox as being from Williamsburg, although the state police report lists her address as Belleville.
