Cambria County adds 30th trailhead to challenge
Participants must take photo at new location to enter event
One week after announcing the Cambria County trailhead challenge’s return, officials have added a new trailhead to the challenge that people must visit in order to be entered to win a $250 gift certificate from both Vale Wood Farms and Up-N-Running of Ebensburg.
With the new trailhead, located near the Nanty Glo Park and Pool, 842 Lincoln Ave., the challenge now includes 30 total trailheads, Commissioner Tom Chernisky said Tuesday, noting people must take a picture of their face by all 30 trailhead identifiers and send the pictures to the Cambria County Conservation and Recreation Authority’s Facebook page via Facebook Messenger between May 1 and midnight Nov. 2.
In order to enter, people need to send their name, address, email address and phone number along with the pictures, Chernisky said.
A full list of trailhead locations can be found on the authority’s website, www.cambriaconservationrecreation.com.
