Altoona pastor opens US House floor in prayer as guest chaplain

Dull ministers to Faith Baptist Church of Altoona

U.S. Rep. John Joyce, R-13th District, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, R-Louisiana, and House Chaplain Margaret Grun Kibben, welcomed Pastor Gary Dull of Altoona to open the House floor in prayer as guest chaplain on Friday.

While serving as guest chaplain, Dull visited the statues of Billy Graham and Minister John Peter Gabriel Muhlenberg of Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Nancy, also had the opportunity to visit the historic Capitol Chapel and see the famous George Washington stained glass window.

Dull is the pastor of Faith Baptist Church of Altoona, where he has preached the gospel for 29 years.

Dull, who became a minister in 1968, has served at four churches in Pennsylvania and Florida before joining the Faith Baptist Church of Altoona. In 1989, Dull founded Way of Truth Ministries, where he still serves as president. Way of Truth Ministries has missionaries in Africa, Asia and North America, and produces radio programs that air on nearly 75 stations throughout the United States.

Dull also serves as Executive Director and Vice President of the Pennsylvania Pastors Network. He also serves as a board member of the American Pastors Network.
