Delays and a detour will be in place on East 25th Avenue through May 30 for a bridge rehabilitation project.

PennDOT stated that East 25th Avenue is closed, and a one-mile detour will use Juniata Gap Road, East Wopsononock Avenue and Broadway to route traffic back to East 25th Avenue through the end of May.

Permanent roadway signs will be in place to mark the start, end and route of the detour, and flaggers and channelizing devices will be in place where needed.

Cottle’s Asphalt Maintenance Inc., of Everett, is the contractor for the $524,135 multi-bridge rehabilitation project. The work is to be completed by the end of the month.
