What products or services does your company provide? Custom print and mailing services to local and outlying businesses and subcontracted industrial labor. Newly added, for 2020, is wide format printing, producing banners, yard signs, removable and permanent decals, magnets, wall and floor graphics and more.

Who are your customers? Our customers are a mix of local businesses primarily serving Blair, Cambria, Centre, Huntingdon and Clearfield Counties. We have customers as far North as Boston and as far South as Delaware.

What is your business day like? Busy and diverse! For the past five years I have served as the financial business manager of LSI. My position is now transitioning to encompass an overall business management role overseeing daily operations as well. Every day entails customer interactions through email, phone and face to face contact, financial account management, job quoting and employee management. Fortunately, at LSI, we are a great team who all work together, donning whatever “hat” is necessary to get the job done.

What is the best business advice you have received? “Under Promise and Over Deliver” and “Talk Less and Listen More”

What is the most important thing you’ve learned on the job? That the three keys to success in any situation are to identify, understand and adapt.

What does the future hold? Providing exceptional customer service and high quality products is the focus of today and every future day. Increasing our exposure and acquiring new customers is high on my to do list. The other question we ask ourselves daily is “Where do we go from here?” Identifying our customer’s needs will be the defining factor in LSI’s growth. I can’t wait to see what is next.

What have you read lately that has influenced your business life? I love to read and have been influenced by so many books. My current read is “The Complete Works of Florence Shinn.”
