Seven D Wholesale acquires new distribution facility

Seven D Wholesale, an Altoona-based DeGol Organization company, recently acquired a distribution facility in Phoenix, N.Y.

Formally operated for 37 years as Buttolph Lumber, this location encompasses 9.2 acres and more than 50,000 square feet of enclosed storage. The site also has a railroad siding that has direct access to the CSXT rail system. The purchase included the physical plant and all inventory, trucks and equipment.

All current employees of Buttolph Lumber have joined the Seven D team, according to a company press release.

This location will permit Seven D Wholesale to supplement its services to existing accounts in central New York and allow the company to expand its product distribution into Syracuse, Rochester, Buffalo and points in western New York and eastward into several New England States.

This acquisition continues Seven D Wholesale’s recent expansion efforts. This purchase, along with four acquisitions completed in January, brings the total number of distribution locations to 12. From these sites in Pennsylvania (3), Ohio, Florida, Connecticut, New York, Mississippi, Florida (2), Maryland, and Alabama, Seven D Wholesale provides comprehensive sales and distribution services to accounts from Maine to Florida and all states east of the Mississippi River.
