Penn Highlands recognizes cadets

JOHNSTOWN –– The third class of the Pennsylvania Highlands Community College Police Academy (Cadet Class #91) was honored during a graduation ceremony held at the Richland Campus Auditorium on Oct. 1. Each of the six cadets received a certificate acknowledging their completion of the Penn Highlands Police Academy, with two receiving their recognition from the police chief representing the respective department they will be employed at upon graduation and successful completion of a state test. Bellwood student chosen for Crimson court at IUP INDIANA, Pa. –– A Blair County at Indiana University of Pennsylvania has been selected for the 2025 IUP Homecoming Crimson Court. Members of the Crimson Court took part in all university Homecoming activities, including the annual Homecoming parade on Oct. 4. The Crimson Court consists of students chosen by a university-wide student vote to represent each of the colleges at IUP. Cambria Heights Highlander Walk

Courtesy photo The Cambria Heights Student Council held its second annual Highlander Walk on Friday, Sept. 26. This year’s event raised $2,900 for the Ronald McDonald House of Pittsburgh, bringing together middle and high school students for a day of fun, school spirit and community giving.
