Mount Aloysius to hold open houses CRESSON — Mount Aloysius College will host two fall open houses for prospective students and their families on Oct. 17 and Nov. 11. Both open houses will run from 10 a.m. to approximately 1 p.m. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet with faculty and admissions counselors, tour campus and learn more about academic programs and student life. Penn Highlands Foundation to award $80,000 in scholarships

JOHNSTOWN — The Pennsylvania Highlands Community College Foundation will award more than $80,000 in scholarships for the 2026-27 academic year. n The Supporting Scholars program includes Presidential Scholarships of $6,000 annually and Emerging Leader Scholarships of $2,000 annually for first- and second-year students. HUNTINGDON — Juniata College will host its inaugural Central Pennsylvania Preview Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 26 for high school sophomores, juniors and seniors from the surrounding region.
