ArtsAltoona will host a Plein Air Painting event Saturday, May 23, with a Wet Sale on Sunday, May 24. The event will offer artists the opportunity to create original works outdoors, capturing the natural and urban landscapes of the Altoona area in real time. The event will conclude with a wet sale, open to the public, from 12 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 24, at the ArtsAltoona Center. The Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art is pleased to announce Paint Bedford County, a weekend-long celebration of art, nature and culture presented in collaboration with the historic Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa. Participants are welcome to visit the park office before starting their experience. Join the Park Naturalist for a morning of Family Fishing at 10 a.m. Sunday, May 24, Whipple Dam, Greenwood Furnace State Park, Huntingdon.
