Alishia Mae Hollern of East Freedom and Patrick Damian Martz of Altoona are engaged to be married.

Miss Hollern is the daughter of William T. Hollern of Altoona and Jessie M. Hollern of East Freedom.

She is a 2003 graduate of Claysburg-Kimmel High School and a 2010 graduate of Mount Aloysius College, Cresson.

She is employed by Raymond James Financial Services/Irwin Financial, Inc., Altoona.

Mr. Martz is the son of Carole L. Martz of Altoona and the late Patrick A. Martz.

He is a 1990 graduate of Altoona Area High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army Airborne.

He is employed at PGW Industries, Tipton.

An October wedding is being planned at the Smith Corner Church, East Freedom.
