Military Food Share set for Monday The monthly Military Food Share distribution at the Duncansville VFW Auxiliary 8724 will be held on Monday, Sept. 14, beginning at 11 a.m. This is for all active military, veterans and widows or widowers of veterans living in Blair County. Historical society plans event at U.S. Hotel The Blair County Historical Society has announced that reservations are open for its 2026 Blair County Heritage Gala, which will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, at the U.S. Hotel’s Liberty Hall in Hollidaysburg.
