PASR lunch planned

The Blair County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees meets at 11:30 a.m. the first Tuesday of every month. New members formerly employed by local school districts or intermediate units who are now retired are welcome to join.

The Aug. 6 meeting will be held at Pavilion 2 at Highland Park in Altoona. Those planning to attend may order a pizza for $10 or bring a lunch. Water will be provided. To purchase a lunch, send a check made out to BCCPASR and mail to Doris Felty, 1518 Lakeside Drive, Altoona, PA 16601. Checks must be received by July 29.

The group will be collecting for the Mountain Lion Back Pack Program.
