n The library will bring the 2026 Air Weaver Big Balloon Show to Altoona at 6 p.m. June 12 at the Altoona Area High School auditorium, 1415 Sixth Ave. This free show combines balloons, magic and silliness to create a tone-of-a-kind experience that will delight children and adults alike. n In partnership with the Video Game Clubs of America, the library will host a gaming club from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, June 9, 16, 23 and 30. n The Friends of the AAPL Puzzle Swap will be held at 5 p.m. June 9. Bring a gently used puzzle (with all pieces) and “swap” it with someone else’s puzzle

n “Popular Slang Through the Decades” will be hld at 6 p.m. June 15. Learn about popular slang throughout the decades. This program is for ages 18 and older and registration is preferred. Call 814-946-0417, ext. 125, to register.
