Mr. and Mrs. Carl Allison of 408 Condron St., Hollidaysburg, will celebrate their 75th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at a local restaurant.

They were married July 22, 1950, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Hagerstown, Md., by the Rev. Edward P. Heinz.

Mrs. Allison is the former Beverly Mitchell.

The couple have two children: Paul Allison, who died March 22, 2004, and Evon White of Hollidaysburg.

They also have two grandchildren: Dr. Carlee Ranalli and Seth Allison, and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Allison retired from Investment Saving & Loan Association as manager of the Hollidaysburg Branch Office, now known as Investment Savings Bank, with 43 years of service.

Mr. Allison retired from Bell Telephone Co. as a lineman with 36 years of service.

The couple are members of Duncansville Evangelical Lutheran Church.

They met on Friday, Jan. 13, 1950, at Dean’s Diner in Williamsburg, after a Williamsburg High School basketball game.
