There’s an exciting opportunity for local artists and art lovers coming to Altoona with the upcoming Plein Air Painting Event & Wet Sale hosted by ArtsAltoona!

From Friday, May 22 through Sunday, May 24, artists will paint on location throughout the community at selected outdoor sites, creating original plein air artwork inspired by the beauty of our region. The weekend will also feature a Wet Sale on Sunday from 12:00-4:00 PM, where the public can view and purchase freshly created pieces directly from participating artists.

In addition to showcasing their work, participating artists will also have the chance to compete for prizes, making this a wonderful celebration of creativity and community spirit.
