Donald Lee Nardelli

Donald Lee Nardelli, 42, of McKees Rocks, formerly of Coalport, died Sunday. He was born in Altoona, a son of Ricardo “Rick” and Linda (Shomo) Nardelli. Surviving are brothers, Richard and Andrew; and nephews, Logan and Devon. He was predeceased by grandparents: Lewis Nardelli, John and Florence Pyzowski and Don and Grace Shomo. Donnie was a licensed paramedic, an RN, a flight nurse, surgical nurse and a trauma nurse. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025, at Hollentown Assembly of God Fellowship Hall. Arrangements by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.

Richard Melvin Peacock, 86, of Coalport, died Sunday. He was born in Coalport, son of the late Robert W. Jr. and Margaret M. (Pyzowski) Peacock. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Joseph Reifer; brothers: Robert Jr., Donald, Lawrence and James; and sisters, Jane Keith and Barbara Irvine. Surviving are his wife, Beverly; children: Kelli Rydbom, Gaylene Rydbom, John Maczko, Brian Peacock and Marcy Skebeck; numerous grandchildren; and a sister, Eileen Troxell. Barbara J. Snider, 98, of Port Matilda, passed away peacefully on Sunday. Born in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Eleanor (Lane) Beckwith. In Fort Dix, N.J., she married Mort J. Snider, who preceded her in death in 1994. Sylvia Grace “Syl” (Mock) Woods, 84, of Tyrone, died Sunday. She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Edward Robert and Fredda Mae (Holsinger) Mock. She married the love of her life, James Anthony Woods, on Oct. 28, 1960. He preceded her in death on Nov. 29, 2021, after sharing 61 years of marriage.
