Robin M. Eiche

Robin M. Eiche, 92, of Martinsburg, passed away Sunday at the Village at Morrisons Cove. She was born in Reading, daughter of the late Robert and Elva (Carpenter) Eiche. Surviving are her brother, Steven, in California; and nephew, William. Robin graduated from Altoona High School in 1950 and went on to receive a master’s degree in English from Penn State University. Irvin Frederick ‘Fred’ Brandt

Irvin Frederick “Fred” Brandt, 90, of Altoona, passed away Wednesday morning at The Winds at Mattern Orchard, Duncansville. He was born in Altoona, the son of the late Samuel D. and Virginia (Kane) Brandt. Fred is survived by a sister, DeeDee Brandt; several nieces; a nephew; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Laura Collier; and a brother, Sam Brandt. At Fred’s request, there will be no visitation or services. Linda E. (Young) Brown

Linda E. (Young) Brown, 76, of Duncansville, passed away Monday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Marion and Almeda (Kensinger) Young. She married Daniel Brown in 1968. Surviving are her husband of 57 years; a daughter, Stephanie Rhodes-Tittle of Roaring Spring; a grandson, Cody Rhodes; and a sister, Patty Benton. Linda was a 1967 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School, and earned an associate’s degree in Management at Parkland College. Linda enjoyed spending time with her grandson. All services are private at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
