Sharon L. Abraham, 73, of Tyrone, passed away Sunday. She was born in Raynham, Mass., a daughter of the late David and Jeanette (Hardy) Knox.
On June 2, 1974, in Raynham, Mass., she married the Rev. Dr. Samuel Zachary Abraham, who preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 2007, and whom she looked forward to being reunited with.
Sharon is survived by her daughter, Sarah (Tyler) McCloskey; two granddaughters, Maia and Emma; and a brother, Richard Knox.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, John and Larry Knox.
Prior to leaving the workforce, she was a programmer analyst.
Sharon was a member of Grace Bible Church in Hollidaysburg, and her faith was very important to her. She was also a member of the Iron Bridge Theatre and was very involved in their productions.
She enjoyed playing the piano and crocheting.
Sharon was a very proud and loving grandmother.
A memorial service for Sharon L. Abraham will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025, at Grace Baptist Church, 2308 Adams Ave., Tyrone, with Pastors Drew Baker and Michael Stuart officiating.
Contributions in Sharon's memory may be made to the Iron Bridge Dinner Theatre, 1054 Lincoln Ave., Tyrone, PA 16686.
