EBENSBURG -- With one game left in the regular season, the Hollidaysburg Area ice hockey team improved to 17-0 with a 6-2 win over Forest Hills Thursday night in high school action at the Northern Cambria Recreation Center.
The Golden Tigers finish up the regular season next week at 1st Summit Arena in Johnstown against Richland in which they will go for the perfect mark.
Ben Pfeilstucker and Isaac Miller each had goals for the winners in the first and second period, respectively, but it was 2-2 going into the final frame when the winners exploded for four goals, courtesy of Carson Young - Miller and Pfeilstucker one each - and Jared Smith.
Goalie Tyler Duey faced 20 shots on goal and stopped 18. The Rangers' goalie, Isaac Valko made 30 stops on 36 shots on goal.

UNIVERSITY PARK -- The Altoona ice hockey team scored three times in the third period to break a 1-1 tie and defeat State College, 4-1, at the Pegula Ice Arena at Penn State University.
The Mountain Lions (10-7), who out-shot State College, 37-26, got third-period goals from Carter Panick, Noah Stained and Caleb O'Keefe to win the game.
Altoona got a goal from Brady Sassano in the first period that tied the game up at 1-1. Goalie Seth Conrad finished with 25 saves on 26 shots on goal. The Little Lions (9-5) got their only goal from Shane Bader.

BCC edges CIA
DUNCANSVILLE -- Caedmon Dull scored 22 points to lead Blair County Christian to a comeback 48-47 victory over Bedford CIA in a high school boys basketball game on Thursday.
The Bobcats outscored Bedford CIA, 26-10, in the fourth quarter to complete the rally. The Blair County Christian girls beat Bedford CIA, 44-22, but no statistics were reported to the Mirror.
