What services or programs does your nonprofit provide? Altoona Community Theatre produces four Mainstage productions each season at the Mishler Theatre. Every production is brought to life by local volunteers, including performers, directors, designers, musicians, and backstage crews. ACT serves nearly 200 children through our Summer Drama Camps for Children & Teens and the Penguin Project, which stars children with special needs. ACT produces The Isaac Awards, a regional program that celebrates excellence in high school musical theatre and awards nearly $60,000 in scholarships annually while recognizing outstanding student performers and technicians.
